It’s hard to believe how quickly the summer has gone, but we now have just one month left in the 2026 boating season at Albany Yacht Club. Our season officially comes to an end on October 15.

September and early October can offer some of the best boating of the year on the Hudson River. Cooler temperatures, changing fall colors, and quieter waterways make this a great time to get out and enjoy a few more trips before the boats are put away for the winter.

So don’t put those dock lines away just yet! Take advantage of the remaining weekends, spend some time at the Club, and enjoy the Hudson while you still can.
