The Albany Yacht Club, located just 7nm south of Lock 1 (The “Federal Lock”), is the gateway to the Erie and Champlain Canals. With dock space, fuel and provisioning nearby, we’re a great spot to start or finish your trip through the canal system.
Enjoy music on the river in both Albany and Troy during the Summer. See bald eagles flying gracefully through the air just south of us around Schodack State Park and “The Hook”. Watch the fireworks on the 4th of July from your slip. View the fall foliage turning vibrant colors along the shore. The Upper Hudson is a combination of communities, nature and grace that many don’t realize is here to enjoy.
